"A Life of Albert Pike"

While I was visiting the Dallas Scottish Rite at the Reunion on March 5th, I picked up the book "A Life of Albert Pike" by Walter Lee Brown. Has anyone read this yet? It is starting out with pretty much the history of his early life, but I am wanting to know if it is going to go into any depth about his Masonic life as well and how he contributed to the Scottish Rite. Anyone read this one and got anything to say about it? Reviews, even?

No. But I'd bet the topics of support of the Southern cause and Pike's views on slavery will be fully addressed. How old is the publication, I'm not aware of it?

Yes, 1997. Pretty thorough book. Does have a great deal about his Masonic activities. I would rate it as a very good resource.
