What does Masonry mean to you?

Wow, this is a tough question. I guess I would say that masonry is a place where I can go and recharge my batteries. In everyday normal life your guard is up constantly because you always have to watch your back. At the Lodge you should be surrounded by people that are more worried about helping yourself than themselves. It is a place where I can on occasion ask a question on how I can do something in my life and get an answer without having to feel judged. It is a way for me to find my true self and fix any areas I may be troubled with the assistance of others. I guess in a round about way it is my therapy. Masonry allows me to do what I enjoy and allows me to become a better person during the same time.

If I may, it is the miracle grow to my spiritual growth. I would have always grown spiritualy in life but without the Craft I suspect I would be no where near the level I am now.

Masonry allows me to have a "friend" where ever I go. I am always met with sincere friendship and brotherly love when I visit Brothers I don't know. It gives me a feeling of security knowing that I have millions of Brothers all over the world.
