I am aware, that two Masonic Centres in Victoria Australia wrote to the State Minister for Emergency Services and Police today offering use of their vacant Masonic Centres to Police and other Emergency Services.
With them vacant, and aware of workforce decentralizing, it seemed like a good idea for so many reasons.
We recently had a COVID-19 case in Police Station right near our Centre - they could split and quarantine their workforce between two sites, Police Station and Masonic Centre...
Has anyone else offered the use of their Masonic Centre or other resources to local authorities ?
It might be a good idea; it would help discharge our benevolent and civic duties, and offer some assistance to the wider community in difficult times ? We've heard of Freemasons doing that in the past, it's our turn now.
Any other ideas on how we might help as an organisation ?
