Character

Let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.

James 1:4 nrsv

Character is commonly defined as moral strength-the ability to consistently do the right thing for the right reasons. How do you stack up when it comes to character?

You may already be a person whose strength of character is well established. But if you aren't, you can be. No matter what you have done in the past, you have an opportunity each day to do what is right; and each time you do what is right, you plant a seed of character in your life.

Add to that one more ingredient-endurance. As you sustain a pattern of choosing to do what is right, you will be well on your way to becoming the strong person of character God has always intended you to be.

True Character Is: What you would do; if you knew nobody could know, or ever find out.

I just had it defined this way. Do people think of you as a character, or one who has character.
