Well, i guess im getting cold feet. Ive been reading lately and just been thinking. Ive always wanted to be a Mason, i wasnt able to go the MS route. I just didnt think it was going to happen that route. So i decided to go PHA. Ive been reading and i guess now im seeing how disconnected it is. The last thing i want is to be one, meet someone whos MS and they look down on me.

Ask yourself: 1.) Why do you want to be a Mason? 2.) What do you think Masonry can offer you? There's only disconnect in 8 southern states. Perhaps you can get to know members of both in your city. That may help. But I wouldn't let "being looked down on" be my deciding factor.

1. Because of the history, the comradary, the brother hood. 2.id like to think about it like what can i bring to the fraternaty, my dedication, knowledge, time and effort. I went to two lodges and didnt feel welcomed at neither. The PHA lodge was great, its just that those 8 states are preventing recognition. They would consider me cladenstine.
