That's correct..... The BPOE was created by several Masons from New York. That's why the initiation and obligations are so similar.

That's the whole point of becoming a Master Mason....... It makes you reach for the "light at the end of the tunnel" knowing that when you do get to wear the bling it because you've earned it.

I know that my with my Brothers help I will become very proficient in the opening and closing on all four lodges. :D

I'm the Senior Warden of Gonzales Lodge #30 but, I am also the Acting Master of the Lodge too...... Our elected Master passed away in late September. :(

Well, I'll go ahead and spill the beans now....... I'm getting engaged in about 2 weeks.....:) My future wife and I have discussed the Lodge and the Eastern Star...... She's willing to join as long as I'm a member too...... I've got mixed feelings about that.....:confused:

But, what happens to someone in my position? I was Senior Warden until the death of our Master at the end of September.
