    Knights Templar

Hi Red, Sometimes people complicate things, the very simple answers to your actual questions are: 1) There is no actual link between Freemasonry and the Poor Fellow Soldiers of Christ and the Temple. 2) No if you want to be come a an actual KNight Templar there is no point in you joining...

Albert Pike: More harm than good?

I find it sad that many who read M&D do not bother to read the Preface by the Supreme Council which puts the book exactly into the correct context for anybody (Mason or not) who reads it. Just for clarity I have reproduced it below and emboldened the most important elements that are totally...

    Visiting UGLE temple in London

Just a couple of pointers. It is actually called Freemasons' Hall, cabbies wouldn't know where to take you if you called it that. Although the tour does not take you into any Lodge rooms it does take you into the Grand Temple. You will find information about the guided tour at our Library &...

Jacques de Molay 700 years ago

The "actual" historic Monastic Order (Poor Fellow Soldiers of Christ and the Temple at Jerusalem) headed by de Molay has nothing to do with Freemasonry. The appendant Order for Master Masons is just a "commemorative" Order there is no link.

    Explaining the "higher" degrees.

The ONLY way to truly appreciate the position of the Appendant Degrees and Bodies is to become familiar with their actual (not legendary) histories. Then you will understand why they are not superior to the Craft but only additions. Sadly too many Freemasons who should know better buy into...

Widows Son MC belt bbelt buckle

I beg to differ that is (at least) the design of the registered patch of the UK Chapter of Widow's Sons Masonic Riders' Association and I would expect that they took it from their parent Chapter in the US. If you wanted to wear a Masonic buckle there are hundreds out there that are not linked...
