It can be very scary for a non mason to knock on the door due to the amount of miss-information that is so profound these days.
It's a big step, knocking on a strange door for the first time, but its at that moment that the foundations of friendship begin.
All Masons can attended meetings in their Lodge. If they are performing a 2nd or 3rd degree they would ask you to leave the lodge room and wait for that degree to conclude and then invite you back in before closing the meeting.
Re: CBS Sunday Morning to air segment on Freemason
Not too bad at all.
The one thing that we should remember us that we will NEVER prove to the crowd that we are not what conspiracy theorists and scare mongers say we are, and neither should we. If they want to know the truth, let them join and see.
This just adds fuel to the conspiracy flame - You know, that the Masons are mere foot soldiers kept out of the loop and that we have no idea what goes on above our own "rank"
Awesome news on your appointment as SW Brother Josh - May the GAOTU bless you with confidence, strength & wisdom in your journey to conquer your fears :)
Re: "Pawn Stars" donate $11,500 to Shriners Hospit
Love his show as its really down to earth, grounded and not fabricated like others. Hes got this Big Teddy Bear feel about him indeed :)
My investigation consisted of a Q&A session with 2 Brothers and it was not threatening in anyway. They asked me about my background, family background, Do I believe in a supreme being, why I wanted to join and what I wanted to get out of it.
My name was also brought up in Lodge meetings 3 times...
