Going to my first Master Mason meeting tonight at a neighboring lodge since being raised three days ago. I consider this my right of passage. Eagerly looking forward to it.
Here in Kentucky I was informed that the leather apron that I was issued upon my raising will only be worn by me upon my death. As I was raised only 2 days ago I have not found out whether we are allowed to have our own aprons.
I agree with this up to a point, but if we do not do something to attract more young people to the Fraternity then when us older people pass on the Fraternity will die with us.
Congratulations! I was just raised last night and I can tell you that it is a wonderful and exciting journey. And the best thing? It just keeps getting better.
I agree. You are either interested in continuing or you are not. Being recently raised I can still readily remember that when I reached EA I was eagerly looking forward to studying and advancing.
