Lodge is one place where alcohol is not present, I have enough places to hangout and BS where alcohol is available.
Would be the same if they started admitted women... I would stop attending.
If I wanted to socialize at a bar, there are plenty in my area. IMHO a lodge does not need a bar.
And if TX ever allowed a bar in blue lodges, I for one would most likely stop attending.
On 6/26 I had the honor of being installed as Junior Warden at Sam B. Crawford #1418 in New Caney Texas.
The last few years have been an interesting trip.
Also here in Tx any Mason can stop a EA or FC from continuing in his work to be a MM for almost any reason, So we ask our EA's and FC's to lay low on displaying anything until they have been Raised, Just a FYI and Congrats on starting your journey.
I'm not sure where your located but it is frowned upon (here in Texas and I'm sure other areas) about displaying Masonic symbols, rings, flags, ect until you've been raised as a Master Mason.
