Awesome! I was in 9th Cav under Greywolf, the Headhunters. An old Buffalo Soldier unit, lots of history. Mechanized cavalry by the time I came along...crazy infantry folks with drivers licenses :)
Not sure if the 9th is still under the 3rd, I heard it had moved to Bliss at least in part...
The Economist is a pretty decent newsrag in my opinion. Not saying as a single source by any means, but I try to keep the television turned off anymore - and the alternative news sites are filled with so much woowoo
Howdy man, and welcome. I was stationed at Ft. Hood back in the 90s and had a good time when I wasn't in the field.
There are some active brothers from around that area on here that will fix you up.
Again, welcome :)
"Teets" is a funny word when applied to humans - but my wife doesn't think its very funny :30:
Well, shit. Some of you could do with a wax job :scared:
I don't care who a fella is, if they have a chemistry set and claim to be an alchemist, they are a funny fellow. If a person wants to...
So are there any known cases of an American Freemason being excommunicated from the Catholic Church because of their membership in Freemasonry in the last 20 years? A documented instance.
If not, then Occam's razor probably would give a man a good close shave.
I second JemsbyJem. Incredibly reasonable price, hand made by a Texas Mason. It isn't in the "fancy" category, lots of stainless steel rings and whatnot. But a fantastic value without a doubt.
I think it must be a somewhat unique location. And we don't do anything as an organized lodge event or anything like that. Rules are the rules, and I'm about the last fellow to want to skirt them. And to be clear, we aren't as a lodge organizing boxing matches or that sort of thing - its just...
Our lodge room is within our local Shrine temple. We don't drink before lodge, and certainly never within the lodge room. But after lodge?
Keeping in mind that there are pool tables, big screen tvs, poker tables and on and on in the various unit rooms on every side of our lodge room, above...
I think it is possible shark jumped the trees somewhere along the way
But if we are talking about North Korea now (which I'm not entirely sure of, sorry), I'll chime in. I'm taking the last political science class of my degree this semester, Intelligence Analysis. The professor is a...
Thats roughly my take too. I like the creativity of avoiding "mainstream", a word I don't like. But yeah, I wouldn't actually use "GW" or the like or follow suit personally with that particular naming convention.
I wish there was no division at all. I wish I could snap my fingers and bam, 50...
My concern is that pretty well all the fellas I know are such strong adherents to the mouth to ear bit for the Q&A that it would move them on the visitation issue if it came to it. I find that it rubbed off on me, and its one of the pillars of Freemasonry the way I was taught it. That bond I...
I think most of us understand that this particular lodge may be going through some challenges not normal for a Texas PH lodge.
It may be a separate matter, however, for some of us who favor visitation with PH to find out that in Texas - at least some of the ritual work for PH is provided in...
I wear my ring 24/7, though it isn't flashy. You would almost have to be looking for it to note the S/C, which is fine by me. After all I look for rings, I bet most of you do too with fellas you spend time having a conversation with. I think of it like a wink and nod to brothers as opposed to...
