    Conneticut prayers

we live in a fallen world, where the free choice of mankind trumps the perfect will of the Father. We celebrate our freedom, but forget the bitter fruit that freedom can yield when place in the hands of fallen mankind. As long as Jesus tarries, sin will reign upon earth. Fallen man will continue...

    Aprons

I noticed ebay has a great selection of aprons at pretty good prices. I would love to have one too but Texas is pretty clear that we can't have anything on our aprons. Officers only can be trimmed in blue. Bummer

    A rose on the Alter

Recently, the Crowley Lodge and Eastern Star invited the masonic play "A Rose upon the Alter" to come and perform. I don't knwo if any of you have seen this play, but it is WELL worth it. It is an OPEN play and takes place inside the lodge. It was really cool to have my wife come and get a...

    MM Degree @ Granbury 392

Cool idea! That should be neat. If I were not out of town that day I would SO be there! Let us know if and when you have your next OUTDOOR raising. I was disappointed the last one was rained out. I was looking forward to that.

A Physician Testifies About the Crucifixion

I am not clear if your stance is purely Orthodox or not. It may well be. If it is, I find it ironic that the Orthodox churches for the most part continie to show Jesus on the cross, being it is no "big deal" and the Western Protestant Chruches show the cross empty (after the crucifixion).

Importance of sitting in the East

Hey, find something you like to do, and do it well. What direction you face makes little difference if you are enjoying yourself.

    New and Unused

Brother we are no all type A personalities. We may not all be good at jumping up and being outgoing to a bunch of people we dont know. I would hope that through your degrees you have made some friends though. I agree with the other brothers on here, to speak to some leaders about it. Also...

do u have change for 15 cents????

I have found there are several lodges out there that have coded "masonic" sayings. I don't knowexactly what the purpose is, other than to maybe make a "regular" mason look ignorant. duhhhh... what are you talking about??? But, maybe it is just a demorgraphic thing... beats me.

    tv commercials

There is very little left on TV that I really care for. Maybe I am just getting old. I like the oldies shows and some Food and Reality shows. Other than that.... give me COLUMBO. The term "idiot box" has truly taken hold now a days. ha Worst yet, so many BELIEVE what's being shown!

    York or Scottish Rite

In the beginning I was contant to stay with the Blue Lodge. But when I found out the Knights Templar were on the York Rite side; I opted to go that route. I am an ordained minister, so a purely Christian side of Masonry was very appealing. At first, I misunderstood the Scottish Rite, thinking it...

Ol' skip is at it again

I am a fundamental Christian in all respects. However, what this "skip" represents is no where near Christianity. He is a legalist, not a Christian. There is a HUGE difference. I also concur with the other brothers. I would let him go. He actually would LOVE for us to reply - thus feed the...

A Physician Testifies About the Crucifixion

This is an interesting topic. Good Friday is good Friday, but Easter will always be about the resurrection. My opinon on why there has been so much talk on the act of the cross is to show the extreme torment that Christ suffered, voluntarily for you specifically. We have all grown up seeing the...

    Aprons

I do like the idea of putting a personal history, or signifigant items on the Apron. For something to pass down to one's children, it could be something memorable. Many in my family are masons, and shows a rich heritage of our family. I think it woudl look really cool to have my family crest or...

    anti masonry

Likewise I want to ask forgiveness to all the brothers out there for Skip. His zealousness does NOT represent the True Christian Faith.

    Expulsion

We are a moral fraternity.... bottom line, if it's something you would be ashamed for your mother to see, hear, or know about you, it is best it won't fly here.

    Unfinished degree work

I remember in my lodge in Texas, after becoming an EA I had 9 mo to a year to finish the work. If I was not able to finish the work then I would have to go back through the process from the beginning. Being considered new all over again. I then had 9 mo to a year for the FC and 90 days to...
