    I can only can only anecdotally answer that in my experience DeMolay have not in the last 24 years been the future of the fraternity. I can only think of one of those young men in Utah that is active in the fraternity.

    Do you have a black suit? Buy a white shirt and bow tie. Tell the SW you need to save up for the tux, and follow through on your word.

    How would it be out of your comfort zone if there are no speaking parts? You should have a tux. Look online or buy a used one at a rental shop. Make sure you have the sleeves and trousers hemmed for the proper length.

    I am a member of a national GL. It offers no inherent benefits. You would have one more layer between you and GL; you would be that much more detached from the decision making process. This suggestion is sometimes driven by dislike for the policies of a particular GL. Those policies...
