I'm probably the most nervous person you could meet when it comes to speaking in front of a crowd.
You will only see your investigator and the WM (and whomever else is sitting with him in the east, if any)
Concentrate on your investigator. Everyone else, if they are courteous, will be out of...
Bought a tungsten ring for 10 dollars. The working tools are barely visible which is nice to wear at work. No one can really see it but I can look at it to remind myself to be strong for my family when work has me wanting to get up and walk away.
You're question makes sense. I think you're missing something along the lines. Remember what the WM does when the SW explains the WM's duties.
I assume you're lodge opens its stated communications in the first degree?
This is beginning to drift into areas I'm not comfortable going into in an on-line forum. A) What lodge are you a member of and what grand lodge does it belong to? B) I would seek out the advice of your lodge mates if you belong to a regular and duly constituted lodge because this isn't the...
?? The S and C is not a mode of recognition, password or grip. It is an emblem on virtually every master mason ring out there. It is on the side of buildings and emblazoned on my masonic bible. what exactly are you alluding to? That freemasonry itself is in violation of its own rules? There...
I don't have my masonic bible at work to reference but I do remember an explanation that your left ring finger is connected to your heart and your right ring finger is connected to your soul. There is more to it but it is escaping me right now.
@j_gimpy I like that ring.
I was looking at this...
Freemasonry is weird this way. You join it for obvious reasons but you do not know the real reasons because you do not know what is on the other side of the inner door.
It's like saying you love the way a Porsche handles but you only sat in one in someone's driveway.
You can see the car...
http://disinfo.com/2013/09/uk-attempts-filter-esoteric-content-internet/ Seems it is to protect the children but I wonder how much collateral damage will be suffered and if sites like this would fall victim to their filters.
Pretty much this.
I saw my first EA degree as a Master Mason and I was pro-temping the Junior Steward position.
It was pretty interesting seeing and being involved with the degree.
I do think it will help you will learn your proficiency as you will understand it that much more making...
Look when prince hall started. IE the year. Ask yourself what was a major factor back in those times. Since then, times have changed but both grand lodges in each state still exist separately.
I'm not sure how accurate Wikipedia is but I'm sure you can get the feel for why PHA got its start.
I am still confused. Some people seem to not be educated or I'm missing the connection between 3 and 4 letter masons not recognizing.
New Jersey is F & A M (three letters)
Texas is AF&AM (Four Letters)
We are both recognized by the UGLE and thus each other.
Can you clarify what you mean in...
Re: Have people had visitation with God or their D
I realize this is a serious topic so with all due respect ...
...Do you ask to see his dues card if he visits? :13:
Re: Filing in for Jr Steward For EA Degree tonignt
This is something I would like to try to accomplish also so if I ever do decide to actually step in line I will be versed or at least prepared ahead of time for the material. I had fun even though there was no speaking part for me.
Re: Filing in for Jr Steward For EA Degree tonignt
heh, rereading my post and I seem to come off as being upset about it.
While I would love to get in line, I have an 8 month old. Fortunately the chair is claimed for next year. I would probably love to learn all the appointed chairs though so...
