Well guys, might seem like a senseless post but can't contain my excitement anymore. After a year of waiting, i am officially 3 days away from my initiation and just feel the need to share my excitement with someone...was anyone nervous going in or just excited like i am?

Yes its s regular lodge, dominion 117 here in alberta, i go to what functions i can..just hard to stay calm about it : P

I know its still abit away but super excited, in just over 4months i will be initiated as EA, anyone else go through this early excitement? What did you do to keep yourself in check? Lol

Well thankfully my expectations of masonry is only to get what i put into it, so if the book may give the idea that being a mason means wealth and power, theres no cause for alarm as all the brothers i have met are all very informative :)
Hey everyone, i just picked up the book and was wondering what you guys think. Im currently waiting for the vote for initiation...guess what I'm asking is do you think reading it before hand would disrupt the quality of experience going into masonry or is it the kind of book that i can go crazy...

Recently i started seeing a girl and in conversation she asked me to tell her something about me that not many other people know. So i told her I'm petitioning to become a mason, she wasn't sure what that meant. So i tried to explain the best i could of what it is to be a mason, later...
I am aware of the requirements and all do apply to me, also i have discussed it with some friends and family (hope its not a bad thing lol)
