I agree with you my Brother. One can easily associate the two conclusions and argue convincingly that the two could be synonmous in outcome. I've gone this route of thought many times and smile when I see the path leading back to "good and evil."
Brother Blake,
Forgive me for challenging your provided post. This is "an" answer, and it is based upon a lecture that someone wrote and others repeated. It is not the only answer and it is not an answer that would be put forth if one further investigated the basis and history of the symbol...
Brother Blake,
Based upon my research, I would have to say that your options do not include the very option that most Masons should know without waver.
That options would be:
Important / Unimportant
Please let me explain.
I believe that the checkered pavement is a symbol whose meaning...

But Brother Bill,
You are asking your brothers to use their Brains and Hearts and to "JUDGE."
So, now you're asking your Brothers to not use their Brains and Hearts and to not "JUDGE?!?!?"
1) Some are.
2) Nope
...none that people universally accept...
This is a moot point...
Brother Bill,
Please let me know if I'm getting your question correct.
You want to know if I would gleefully, willfully and without reservation, recommend a man who, from all outward appearances, would take any and all necessary steps to subjugate or annihilate every last Lodge member, if he...
1) For some it is experienced this way.
2) Some of us actually do.
3) Please define "afterlife." (Some of us don't die, so this is a foreign concept for us.)
4) No, "got" does not want one religion over another.
5) This is a presumptuous question focused upon the concept of "worship" and...
1) The label does not denote "race."
2) It is not "a choice" for the majority who call themselves or identify as such. For the majority of males who have this orientation, it is a "biological wiring" which, from research, sets itself while within the womb.
According to this research...
Security has notified us that there were suspected terrorist employed at your facility.
Three of the four have been apprehended. Bin Sleepin, Bin Loafin, and Bin Drinkin have been taken into custody.
Security has also advised us that, from the description of the fourth cell member, Bin Workin...

Saved by grace
(Ephesians 2:8-9) - "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God...
Brother Peter,
As I understand it, expectations have to do with "Hope", not Faith.
"Hope" is a directed choice to believe that a possibility will occur while fully understanding that the probabilities of that possibility not occurring are beyond one's control. This understanding doesn't...
Brothers,
As I understand Faith, it is a choice to believe, not based on any concrete evidence for or against.
"Belief" is an interesting word. It comes from the same root the begets the word "beloved." Both "belief" and "beloved" have a common theme. They both are rooted in something...
