It has always been a great sorrow to me that there is a distance? disconnect? between my Prince Hall brothers and my brothers we are masons and we should all work to bring us closer, the obligation makes us a mason and adherence to the obligation is the only way to judge the worthyness of a brother.
Yep I sure do, as a masson we should be and are (in my openion) obligated to protect and defend those who need and deserve our protection. The massonic symbol says I am a man of honnor, a man of comittment and a man of courage.
In Wyoming and New Mexico, the lodges that I visited varied the most I was ask, beyound my dues card, was the grip and word and once the tylers oath, but the grand hailing sign of distress should give you instruction if you git stuck
