Neither of my US GLs provided a dues card as an EA, and not all GLs use dues cards. I‘ve never heard the phrase “underground lodge.” The other young brother already provided his GL and gave reason for not providing his lodge.

Partnership of Grand Lodges Purchase Grand View Systems

I like the program generally, but many of us are itchy about it being in the ownership of non-professionals, and whether us small guys will be listened to.

Male and Female Grand Lodges Counter Misinformation With New 'Council for Freemasonry in England and Wales'

I see some GL officer pics and everyone is all poo faced. There are times in that role when you can have no other face, but for the official photo at the beginning of the year? Look happy!

I will note that we are not Masonic brothers. As you are in Egypt, you would be better able to obtain information.

How to join freemasonry in Egypt

There is freemasonry in Egypt, but it is not considered ”regular.” It is not accepted by the mainstream of freemasonry. As noted above, there is no way to affiliate except in perso.

    Going back after years…

Smile, shake hands, introduce yourself, find someone to sit with, yell, “Go Pack” after the prayers. Ok. Maybe not the last part, though I’d be cool with it. Enjoy your freemasonry. Ain’t no one gonna take away your birthday.
