Boston and Paul Revere

He was descended from Huguenots, those French Protestants and Calvinists, who were well established in Boston as early as 1716. His Father Appollos Revoire Anglicized his name before marrying. Member of the "Sons of Liberty", ringleader of the Boston Tea Party, Grand Master of Freemasons in Massachusetts. His stamp is oft found in Boston. He was the first great articifer of Metals in Boston producing the first copper for USS Constitution hull, and for the dome of the Old State House and of course many Church bells and the like. Tried for court marshal and vindicated. What a lucky man he was.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Boston, visit the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. When my wife and I were there, the gave us an audio Masonic walking tour that followed the Freedom Trail. It was nothing short of amazing. The Paul Revere statue was on the trail, near the old church, and was only one of many things to see.
Boston is on my to do list
