Can a Texan become a Freemason while in Afghanistan?

I just registered and would like some help becoming a Freemason. I have a family history of Freemasons. My family in Fl. and my wife's in TX.

I am a Reserve CW4 serving in Afghanistan as a contractor flying helicopters.

I am currently in Afghanistan and trying to find out if it is possible to become a Freemason while in Afghanistan. (FOB Shank or FOB Sharana)

I live in the Ft. Hood area in Harker Heights.
