If the area to which you go has a Grand Lodge in amity with the GLoT you can attend Lodge (when held in your Degree) and receive instruction. If you get deployed to a location with no recognized GL (ie. the sandbox) you will only be able to attend Lodge by dispensation from our Grand Master (not likely to be granted).

Every GLoT Lodge has a book titled "List of Lodges Masonic" which lists all of the Grand Lodges worldwide & their constituent "Blue" Lodges that are recognized by the Grand Lodge of Texas. I'd suggest that, if & when you are going to move, you contact the Secretary of your Lodge here & have him look up which Lodges you can visit in the area to which you are going.

I did this not too long ago for a member of my Lodge who was being transferred to Ft. Polk, LA. Turns out that there are 9 Lodges in that area which we recognize.
