The resolutions first go through the Jurisprudence Committee to make sure they are in proper form & do not violate the Constitution & existing Masonic law. If necessary, the committee will assign a member to work with the proposer to get the resolution into shape. Then it will go before Grand Lodge. During the MH&S war, something like 16 resolutions were submitted to close the school down. Jurisprudence attempted to get the various authors to agree on just one resolution but, unable to do so, almost all of the proposals made it to the floor. One thing about our Grand Lodge- every member has a voice.
