Have you considered the gulf coast on oilfield supply vessels?
Some of the major players are; Edison Chouest Offshore, Hornbeck Offshore Services, Harvey Gulf International, Otto Candies.
They each have websites with more information than I can list here. There are so many new builds coming out that the companies have been recruiting from the maritime academies.
Another source is a forum on the gcaptain website. Read all the threads about employment. The members don't seem to have much tolerance for someone getting on there and posting something like " Hi, I'm looking for a job. Who's hiring?" So get get on there and lurk until you find some info or come to a dead end.
