Do you feel that after experiencing the MMM,MEM, and RAM degrees, that they truly complete the blue lodge degrees? If so, why? If not, why?

If you read up on the history, especially of masonry in England, you learn about the relationships between the RAM and MM and between the FC and the Mark degree.

I've reviewed several books under the Education forum that provide a pretty detailed history of the Capitular degrees. I'm on my mobile right now or I'd list some of them, but you can find them in that forum.

I suppose my short answer to your question would be yes, definitely.

Thx. And ya I've heard (and experienced) that they are more in depth about the FC in the MMM degree. I truly enjoyed these degrees. They seemed much more in depth and I definitely got a lot from them

Here are three books I highly recommend if you desire to study the history the Royal Arch Degree and Capitular Masonry in general:

1. The Royal Arch Journey - by Rev'd Neville Barker Cryer - 95 pages

2. What Do You Know About The Royal Arch? - by Rev'd Neville Barker Cryer - 10 Lectures on the Royal Arch, 101 pages

3. Ancient Manuscripts of the Freemasons - Edited by Michael R. Poll - Particularly relevant is The Torgau Ordinances on page 79

I've reviewed these in the Education forum and provided more info. They're all available on Amazon and fairly inexpensive. If you're interested in the "study" aspect, I'd recommend reading them in the order I provided.

Good luck in your quest for light!

Thank you bro. Bill, looks like I'm going to make a trip to amazon. Lol. I've always been searching for a book that is the York rite equivalent to morals and dogma.
