This is a great thread! I actually got my MC II materials early in 2011, and never got around to picking it up. I just finished the Fourth Degree quiz and essay. I may post part of it later. Do any of you include deeply personal reflections in your writings?

Rather than post the entire 500+ word essay, I figured I would share this bit from my essay regarding leaving a lasting legacy (fifth degree).

In the charges to the new Master of the Lodge, he is told that he should live respected and die regretted. The sets of eyes that measure our respectability are not in the Lodge room or in the office; they are a few feet off the ground, and usually precede any statement or question with, “daddy?”
