Off the top of my head, I can't remember exactly. If you google "making pre shave oil" (or something like that), you will get a number of websites with different suggestions. The key is having a heavy oil, like olive or castor oil, as your base. I think I added lavender and maybe some kind of...
I'm sure most of us did.
I actually lost quite a few hours of sleep going through the degrees. Like the night of/after my EA, FC and MM degrees, I was just thinking about all that went on. Same thing on the night before I turned in my work in each degree, I was going over the work in my head.
You boys ought to check out the Jack Black products.

I made my own pre shave oil with olive oil as the base and a number of essential oils added. I found a sweet old blue glass after shave bottle shaped like...
I'd be really interested in the age when raised statistics. I'd like to track how that has changed (if so) over time. Also, I think an interesting statistical analysis would be to use that age when raised as the birthdate to get an idea of the age of your lodge in Masonic years.
On the...
With regard to the problem you presented in your first thread, look up a selected Lodge's website and find out when they have a study night (aka floor school) or when they have dinner on a lodge night. Show up a little bit early and speak with the secretary or one of the officers letting them...
I have done all three, York Rite, Scottish Rite and Shrine. All three we very enjoyable. If you live a considerable distance from the nearest Scottish Rite Valley, you might prefer to go York Rite, since it may be easier to find a good group of York Rite bodies closer to your residence.
I have no intention of ever wearing a kilt, but I wanted to say that the Grand Lodge of Scotland has some cool stuff in their store, including a flask that is nothing less than awesome and should be in my collection soon.
Sorry for the distraction, you boys can go back to talking about your...
I enjoy reading books and online info. Joined the York Rite and Scottish Rite (just yesterday) for additional light. I plan to do the Master Craftsman.
I must say this though, there are many truths, both obvious and hidden in the work of the Blue Lodge. Many times I have heard or...
Yes sir, it was a great one. Thanks to the Houston Scottish Rite.
Clearly the degrees that were conferred were awesome, but I really enjoyed the classroom time, too. IMO the teachers were phenominal. I would love to do a longer more indepth classroom type study of the degrees (especially if...
My question is: When are you under the jurisdiction of a particular Grand Lodge? My take on it is that since I belong to a Lodge in Texas, I am under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Texas even if I am physically traveling to another state.
If I move to another state (say Florida)...
Trust (stolen from the Grand Orator)
However, I don't think this question can be answered with one word. Plus there are many things that different brothers get from Masonry. So I we are looking for one concept (or a short list of concepts) we need to boil it down to the few (if any) that...
Where are you located and what lodge?
As you have already heard here, a lot of what you hear out there is a bunch of hog wash. I generally feel sorry for the innocent folks that speak the anti-Masonic rhetoric, because they have been wildly misguided and misinformed by someone with ulterior...
There are few places on Earth like Shriner's hospitals. And the ultimate "tear jerker"! I can't watch these kindas of videos or read thier FB page without getting emotional. Proud to be a Shriner!
