Totally agree!Anything that advocates physical or emotional harm, would most likely be an inept process that should be reexamined.

In my jurisdiction, it involves submitting a Petition for membership into a lodge, having an interview with the lodge's investigation committee, having the lodge cast their vote and if found favorable, being invited to take all 3 obligations in a legal & constituted lodge.Pardon my ignorance, but how exactly does 'healing' work?
So it is just as if you were joining a lodge for the first time and this is the healing? Makes sense. In my jurisdiction, it involves submitting a Petition for membership into a lodge, having an interview with the lodge's investigation committee, having the lodge cast their vote and if found favorable, being invited to take all 3 obligations in a legal & constituted lodge.

Here, we don't have a healing ceremony - if you've been initiated irregularly or clandestinely, you go through the whole degree(s) again. However its really rare, only know of it happening twice in my time and never in a lodge I am a member of. It's always been for men from other Countries..Not exactly....they just have to take the obligations not the whole degrees
Got it. Thank you Brother. Not exactly....they just have to take the obligations not the whole degrees
