Knighting Ceremony

It was fantastic! We had two other Scottish organizations including the Scottish Bagpipe and Drum corp. It was quite a spectacle! A good time was had by all especially the squires that were knighted.

What are the requirements for being a KSA?
Be a member in good standing of the AASR, attend the meeting and be active within the organization. You serve at least 6 months as a Squire and then you are elevated to Sir Knight. We are the service organization within the AASR. We do everything necessary to make our Valley run smoothly.

It varies a little by Valley. In my valley, I don't think they have "squires," but I'm not certain. It's a service group for black-hat 32° brothers. You can only join as a black hat. If you get invested as a KCCH and/or coroneted a 33°, and were a KSA before such honors, you can remain a member but not be an officer.

Again, I suppose this could vary by Valley, but the ones that I know of are quite happy to have new members, and want brothers to apply. After we conferred the 32° on this year's class, the KSA head honcho for our Valley was one of the first on his feet to plug the KSA and invite petitions.

Same here.
Do you just ask ti become a member or is it by invite only?
Here you simply have to petition.

We do the same.
