I am a civilian contractor in Kandahar Afghanistan. If your lodge would like to donate items to the troops here (Coffee, candy, soap, etc). We could sure use anything you wish to donate. Please send your items to

Charles E. Martin
JTF Paladin South
CEXC-A Bldg. 271
Kandahar Air Field
APO AE 09355

And I will distribute them. Kandahar is a desert in south Afghanistan. It is cold, dusty, and lonely. Items from the USA are always appreciated by the troops.

We could really use some Keurig one-shot coffee packs. Also one-shot earl grey tea packs for the Keurig.

Candy and beef jerky is highly prized. Also tobacco, especially copenhagen Skoal, Kodiak, etc.

I can send you a list, if your lodge wants to pariticipate.

Thanks from Afghanistan, the roof of the world.

Tobacco, especially snuff: Copenhagen, Kodiak, Skoal, etc.
Candy all types
Toiletries
beef jerky, cookies, etc.
anything the troops can use, we will distribute.

Brothers, I am saddened, that the response to this request has not met with more enthusiasm. The Soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines here, are risking their lives for our freedom. Can you spare some coffee, and candy, and tobacco, for America's FINEST?

Please consider donating. Thanks.

How sad, that Christmas is coming, and so far, only one person has stepped up, to remember our young men and women, here in Afghanistan. Please, ask your lodge to consider sending some items here, to America's Finest. Christmas is a sad and lonely time, for our troops here in this part of the world. Our troops face death every day, so that we can have freedom. The Army is now facing the highest rates of suicide and depression, in its history. Please see if you can remember our troops, this Christmas.

Thanks.

Christmas is coming. Our troops will be spending the holidays, working, in a lonely and dangerous place. The flags fly at half-staff, nearly every day here. Please go to your lodge, and see if they will consider donating items to our brave men and women here. Candy, toiletries, snacks, coffee, tobacco. all are in need.

We are a free nation, because of our military. Keep this in mind, when you celebrate Christmas.

I would not be surprised if many lodges/people gave things through other avenues. I'm not really trying to excuse anyone, but I gave stuff through my office.

Please consider going to your lodge, or other Masonic group. We can use coffee, tobacco, candy ,snacks, etc. Afghanistan is a cold and lonely place. A rough Christmas, for our troops here. You could set up a collection box, and members could drop in the items.
