did it just get brighter in here, or was that just my FC initiation?

I was humbled by the brothers in attendance, since I could never remember all the names I will just give the summary. 1 Officer of the GLoT, 2 DDGM's, several PM's in the group of about a dozen MM's in attendance, and a little dog too.

Unfortunately for me, the upstairs section of the lodge does not cool as quickly as the downstairs section so I was perspiring like a swine on it's hind legs. But nobody seemed to mind, and I'm pretty sure it was brighter in the lodge than the last time I was there.

I have been anxiously awaiting this event so that I could start to learn more, and now I am greedily seeking even more luminosity. This is fun.

Special thanks to Brother Beathard, my human GPS. He knew exactly where we were going, good thing one of us did.

Hope to see many more Brothers at the Cornerstone event Monday June 13th in Columbus, at the Caledonia Lodge starting at 9a (where there will be 17 PM's) then on to the County Building location for the ceremony around 11a. These events I am told are becoming less frequent, so come check it out with me.

Who's in?

Hahah, I really like how you titled that thread! Good stuff, Bro. And congratulations.

Geez, you did have quite a group of men that were there for that ceremony. I would have been humbled too..lol That really does add to the memory of getting the degree. Since you don't remember all of the names, I'm sure that if you want some sort of keepsake that lists all those names, you can easily find who was present by talking to the Secretary or even just looking at the sign in book. :) I know I would be doing that just for my own knowledge and personal history keeping.

Special thanks to Brother Beathard, my human GPS.

You are very fortunate to have Bro. Beathard in such close communication with you. I feel so lucky that I found this site. Bro. Beathard and a few other Brothers on here are have a wealth of knowledge. Even though I have not met any of them in person, I personally consider them to be mentors in my Masonic world. You are privelaged to have such good access to at least one of these men, and for that, I am envious a bit...lol

Congrats on getting your FC, Bro. Keep up the good work and it is good to see how well you are coming along and how exciting it is to you to continue gaining more light!

Don't be envious, God puts people in our lives for certain reasons, for me I have access to very knowledgeable Brethren in person, and by use of the WWW, you have access to many as well. We are both lucky, perhaps even blessed.

I could fill in some of the names, just didn't want to forget anyone, but since you started it:
The WM from Caledonia Lodge Joe Yeager
Louis "Poppy" Falconer (probably a PM)
Munro (?)
Herb Mann, PM
Dennis Geesaman, PM
Bob Stinson
Mr and Mrs Peach (?)
your boy Trey
Kyle (?)
Bryon Milson
and a couple others I'm sure.

We all learn from well thought out questions and peoples input in an attempt to answer them. Then there is Bill, the constant reminder of which article in the law book is the final answer. 8)

Congratulations brother! That light will look like an oncoming train before you know it. Just don't step off the track. This locomotive has been know to push a long way.

Let's all hope they take a few of Brother Bill's ideas into consideration next December.
