Yeah Red! Send ole Elmo down Louisiana way to the Calcasieu River or the Bayou Teche and he'll grab a few more.

Damn, guys, why am I plagued by SPELLING issues when keying in these Louisiana-SPEAK names?

Did you all know that show is filmed at the Red River? Not sure which side of it he hails from. I saw a piece on ABC Nightline about the show and the guy. The news dude from ABC actually caught one catfish by the tail, in the water and pulled him out. Impressive I thought. I never tried that stuff and probably won't. One time when I was scuba diving at Possum Kingdom I saw a guy I was diving with try to grab a big catfish out of a hole about 30 feet down. The fish went and rammed him in the chest to get away and the next day he had a bruise that pretty much covered his entire chest from it. I guess the lesson to be learned from it was when trying to noodle when on scuba don't use your dive knife to stab them with. They get angry and you lose a perfectly good knife.

Well brethren. The river, including the longest part across NW Louisiana is drained by the Mississippi.

Now according to de La Salle, the Spanish monarchy, Napoleon and Thomas Jefferson much of North Texas, Oklahoma, everything west of the Front Range in Colorado, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan are part of Louisiana. Along with Ohio and everything west of the Allegheny Mountains.

So, there you have it. Of course, if either of you wish to lay claim you may be handed the bill for it's cleanup one of these days by the good ole EPA.:38:
