I see so much that can be done from this job. I'm the Senior Deacon but I have some ideas that I hope along the way will improve the position. I want to work on the lodge history and put something together there and bring the job into the 20th century lol.

Thank you for the kind words and when I read it I said I must share this as well. I think this is powerful and uplifting as well I plan to make a poster of it and ask to put it up in the lodge as a reminder of what not to become and what we should strive to be.

I believe it's best to put it like you stated "Rarely think in terms of my benefits" think of what is best for the craft and the lodge. Always think of how you can be of service to your fellow brethren.
