    Mason at sight ?

I have two ciphers, one Ancient, one not, and both Proficiencies seem to be similar in length. Like so much else, it seems to be more by GL than by the set of initials.

    Station and Place Questions

Interesting. I've never seen the Tyler inside the lodge room, or spoken to by anyone other than the JD.

    Station and Place Questions

During the Opening? Not in my neighborhoods.

    Station and Place Questions

Not really. With the exception of someone wanting to enter after Opening, the Tyler never speaks. I checked the Installation, as well; no mention of station or place.

    Station and Place Questions

In NM and CA, the furniture of the lodge consists of the three Great Lights. It's the "jewels" that are moveable and immovable.

    Station and Place Questions

NM is "stations" for the WM & Wardens, "places" for everyone else. I can't remember any specification regarding the Tyler, but I've always understood it to be "place."

    A Freemasons Snowman

Still trying to find a pyramid with an eye somewhere in lodge... hasn't happened yet.

    KT Regalia in Texas

You don't have to become a KT to join York Rite. There are three separate bodies.

    Jolly Roger

Isaih, you've taken down your paper, so it's difficult to be more specific. I'm not trying to be insulting, I'm being critical of what I find to be a flawed theory based on suppositions. If you're going to claim a global conspiracy spanning six centuries, you're going to need to cite more...

    Jolly Roger

Let's see... first, I never said you cried Illuminati (a long-dead organization with no more connection to the all-seeing eye than the cover of a novel forty-odd years ago), I made a comparison of you and other conspiracy theorists. Second, you're quoting a blog post from three years ago as...

    Apron opinions?

Very similar to NM... "It is yours; yours to wear throughout an honorable life, and at your death to be deposited on the casket which shall enclose your lifeless remains, and with them laid in the grave."

    Jolly Roger

Hodapp merely reported the existence of a document. There is no proof of its validity. In fact, it gets pretty well shot down in the comments. Your arguments, in general, are standard pablum, regurgitated by the same people who cry "Illuminati" every time they see an eyeball. Anglo Catholics...

Can a woman be a Freemason?

Not long ago there was a Co-Masonic lodge in St. Pete's, but I don't know if it still exists. If I lived in FL, I'd help our theoretical woman a bit more. I, too, am done. None of us is really right or wrong. The simplest answer to the original question is "yes, but not in my lodge." At the end...

    Apron opinions?

Not a fan of the coin thing, personally. I feel the lesson is complete as it stands. I'd love to read (or hear) the lecture given in those states that say "you'll only wear this twice." Is that actually in the lecture, or just an addition that crept in later? (Like the coin...)

Can a woman be a Freemason?

"Accordingly?" A man has two options in your state, based solely on his choice in the matter. Would something about a man cause you to point him in one direction or another? I realize this is getting off-base to some degree, but I feel it's germane to the conversation. More than one Grand Lodge...

Grand Lodge of the United States

    Sad indeed, Brother.

Can a woman be a Freemason?

For Levelhead: same equation, different variables; if a man asks you about Prince Hall Masonry, would you summarily shoot him down and tell him your Lodge was the only viable option? I mean, you consider PHA to be clandestine, even though it flies in the face of the majority...

Can a woman be a Freemason?

Is that what you sought when you knocked on the door? Is that the culmination of the Masonic Experience to you? Or is that all you feel women are worthy of?
