I think he is a UGLE mason. But for the modes of recognition , the work is committed to writing, and has been for hundreds of years.
But yes, I think we are all agreed he should be speaking to his lodge.

Typically, they are self-created and don’t have descent from a regular grand lodge.

Neither of my US GLs provided a dues card as an EA, and not all GLs use dues cards.
I‘ve never heard the phrase “underground lodge.”
The other young brother already provided his GL and gave reason for not providing his lodge.

I like the program generally, but many of us are itchy about it being in the ownership of non-professionals, and whether us small guys will be listened to.
I see some GL officer pics and everyone is all poo faced. There are times in that role when you can have no other face, but for the official photo at the beginning of the year? Look happy!
