How to join freemasonry in Egypt

There is freemasonry in Egypt, but it is not considered ”regular.” It is not accepted by the mainstream of freemasonry. As noted above, there is no way to affiliate except in perso.

    Felons

Forgiveness and admission are two different issues. One certainly can forgive another, but still put limitations on their associations.

    Going back after years…

Smile, shake hands, introduce yourself, find someone to sit with, yell, “Go Pack” after the prayers. Ok. Maybe not the last part, though I’d be cool with it. Enjoy your freemasonry. Ain’t no one gonna take away your birthday.

    Yearly Fee

Not all grand lodges have the same rules. Even if we knew the name of your grand lodge, we might not know the rules.

Why is the north a place of darkness?

Not sure of the post to which you are replying. Presumably, you refer to the AZ monitor. Pike erred when speaking about freemasonry writ large. You will often find the secretary and treasurer in the North, along with those of grand rank. The stewards you may see along the SW side.

Watch what you say in here

If your Grand Lodge is “MW Brothers of Light Grand Lodge,” that is a clandestine group, so your warning is correct, if surprising. And are you a Senior Steward in your lodge, or a Senior Grand Steward in your Grand Lodge?

The Recognition Commission found that the Independent Grand Orient of Pernambuco, Brazil, and the Grand Orient of Paraiba, Brazil appeared to meet the Standards of Recognition. They did not change the previous findings as to the country of Georgia; the 2015 GL appears to meet the Standards of...
