What would be the purpose of these sections?? What can be discussed there that can not already be discussed elsewhere?
IMO, what MoT is striving to do is beat down the barriers of this fraternity, not create new ones. Or am I completely misunderstanding your point?
AS modern as most Lodges are these days, they are still ancient by habit.
My best advice to you is to get up out of the computer chair and get moving. Find out when the Lodge meets and get up there to meet the Brethren in person! You will soon find out that nothing is given to you in this great...
Personally, you should never use any grips or other modes of recognition, unless you and the person exchanging with know each other to be Masons, by proper examination.
I feel that we are becoming complacent and careless with our modes of recognition.
I can not go into the details of the actual commitment or obligation. I suppose that you can "take it" as far as you deem it. I don't know many non-Christians that would defend Christianity at "all costs" though...
To the best of my greater limited knowlege, there is no such thing as a 360 degree Mason. Numbered degrees within the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite stop at 32 degrees, with the 33rd degree being honorary.
Any God fearing man can be receive the "Order of the Temple" within the York Rite...
It is official. I am now the Worshipful Master elect of Thomas B. Hunter Lodge #1356, Grand Prairie, TX!!
