Greetings! Welcome aboard to this forum and to Masonry.
Advice? Take on only that which you can. Don't rush it, Freemasonry is a journey to be enjoyed, not rushed. Once ready, don't be afraid to volunteer for ritual parts, even new ones.
Well, I have been offered a position with Sen. Risch (ID) as an intern. I will start in January. Now to find a place to live.
If anyone knows people around DC that has a cheap spare bedroom let me know or let them know that I am looking.
I am glad you enjoyed them. In the OHP, this last year I was Master of Ceremonies (one of the conductors). in the Silver Trowel, I am Sentinel in the opening/closing, but play in the degree team as Adonaija.
I guess I can now add: St. Thomas of Acon, Knight Masons, the three chair degrees of the York Rite, AMD, Royal Order of Scotland, and have been invited to a few more groups.
