    This Saturday

Congratulations my brother. I am pleased to see that your quest for light is still ongoing. If I am not mistaken, you received your Masters Degree at the 2008 Grand Lodge. This great fraternity of ours has many many turns, and corners to be examined, pondered upon, and discussed.. Good luck to...

    FHP: Driver lacked razor-sharp focus

Wow, what a story ! I really can't think of a nice comment for this one.

I sure agree with you on this, plus a multitude of offenses mentioned in the Constitution.

    Removing a Member

I really like that idea. We actually use a variation of it down in League City. It is fairly common, to come to a meeting and have dinner with a feller or two that just happen to be visitors and not members of a lodge.

    Visiting too much?

I say that you continue visiting until, you decide that you want to affiliate with another lodge. In my home district of 31A, I have personally visied every lodge in the district many many times and I have never been told not to come back. Actually down in the Galveston area, we all visit back...

    Removing a Member

I believe that we may have wondered from the subject a little. The use of outside agencies for background checks is not in my opinion for members, but instead should be used to keep unscrupulous men from becoming members.

    Examining a Brother

Brother Hale, your dues card is your receipt, and Brother Lins was correct in a latter post. Myself and a few other brothers who have been around a while, just want to make sure that all of our younger brothers don't get themselves in a pickle by quoteing or saying something based upon what...

    Tilers Oath

My brother there has been a man who has only received an EA deg in South Texas, but has been trying to pass himself off as a Master Mason on more then one occasion. How would you keep such a person out of your lodge?

Mine too, and it is always a part of a certificate exam.

    Removing a Member

My Brother, I am not so certain that we have too many lodges in Texas. I would challange anyone who thinks so to take about a two month vacation and drive this entire State. I believe that we may have too many lodges in certain areas, or perhaps more then the populous might support in a given...

    Removing a Member

Brother Josh, I am actually of the mind that if a brother is disruptive in lodge, and then goes out and starts rumors, then I don't want him sitting in any lodge in this State. If he was a good and true brother, he would have shut his mouth when the Master called him to order, and if he was not...

    New Mason's program

    Great Idea there Brother.

    Tilers Oath

I do not believe that this statement is entirely correct. A paid up dues card and a picture I.D. is only a permissable means of obtaining entry into a lodge ( at the option of the Worshipful Master) of a Texas Mason, otherwise an examination is still required.

    Prop 5

Brother Ken, I for one do not see the necessity of having more then one certification. The premise of the B and C certificate was that it would promote more people to become certified, that it would help or encourage a brother to work towards getting an "A" certificate. I for one do not see that...
