A year for each degree. So you'll be mm two years after being initiated unless you're not ready, then it takes longer.
Thats pretty much standard in my country (the Netherlands).
In my country aprons are handed out during initiation and reflect lodge identity. A custom apron would look out of place, although i never heard of rules against it. I will ask the WM about this one day.
My lodge doesnt own a building. We rent a small local churchbuilding where we setup our stuff to turn it into a lodge and clean up when were done.

The chamber is an integral part of ritual. The mm degree will actually explain the reasoning behind that. Its in fact a thing used in rituals by many much older groups. If done well and taken seriously it is a very profound experience for the initiate.

Googling grandlodge of mexico brings up a wikipedia page on freemasonry in mexico with 4 external links. Apparently there are a few. I think a search in spanish would be more helpful, but not to me as spanish isnt something i can read that well.
