i know that some china lodges are under the ruling of Massachusetts GL which now meet in Japan and I think there may be one in Hong Kong. You can contact the GL of Massachusetts to find out which ones may still be active. I know quite a few went dark over the years.

in massachusetts we use two sets of lights. the first set is at the top three stations and then we have candlestick holders that are used at the altar for the degrees. the station lights are turned on during the opening and turned off at the closing. both sets form a triangle.

it all depends, one of the positive points that some try to make with these one day classes that we hold here in Mass. is that the guy can not make it to lodge to get his degrees and perhaps can not attend lodge but he can do things in the background for the lodge such as web sites, investments...

here in massachusetts yes, but all things each Grand body of each jurisdiction is different. I belonged to two commanderies at one time but can only hold one elected postion in one at a time. The chapter is very similar to blue lodge.
