On my professional resume I do not list fraternal groups per se. I might list boards I have sat on, such as the Shriner's Hospital Board of Governors, as that demonstrates some expertise in matters of administration and governance. I simply don't understand how simply being a member of the...
Oh, I wasn't offended. You were criticizing Texans. I'm an Okie. We view picking on Texans as a laudable past time (my oldest son is a Texan. We just try not to talk about it :))
After over 30 years at the bar and on the bench, I am fairly sure I have a grasp on the definitions of commonly...
No, there was no demand for all of the Shrine's money. Even Imperial Shrine does not say this. I note that I was on the G&A Committee which heard the matter. You have been misinformed.
Labels of "Masonic body" are unhelpful. Rather, the issue is whether a Masonic prerequisite is claimed...
I have tried to foster change. Pictures disrespectful of women and vulgar web pages are not, in my mind, a change for good. I do not like those rocks.
I gave specific reasons when declining permission for the organization. It was clear why I didn't like those rocks.
I no longer have the...

I do have a separate Masonic resume for invitational bodies which require such.
You don't indicate any problems per se with your lodge.
I am unclear why you don't find value in a relationship with a Mason older than you. As others indicated, I am in the missing generation. Yet, my closest friends in the world are Masons who are not my age.
One resolution would be...
I saw the 2009 Wiki report in your other post. I am scheduled to attend the World Conference Board meeting in November as is a PGM of Belgium. Once we get past issues of the Berlin declaration, I may remember to ask him about current figures.
Right. What is your citation for the figures you provided.
I am aware of the various organizations. As best I recollect, my first joint function with feminine/co-ed Masons was 2001, though it could have been earlier.
To my knowledge, all regular grand lodges hold at least annual meetings. Some, like UGLE, hold quarterly communications.
The conference of North American Grand Masters meets each year in February. Prince Hall Grand Masters have a separate conference.
These conferences (and their European...
