Difficult Times

I'm experiencing a period of personal struggle, and wonder if any Brothers out there care to share how Freemasonry has carried them through particularly difficult times in their lives?

I am not really certain if this is what you are searching for or not... I find comfort in knowing that I can simply talk to a group of Brethren and know that they will be good listeners and give honest advice to almost any situation that I have going on. I also know that if I should need anything, someone will be there to help if it is in their own ability.

The Brotherhood and Fellowship of Freemasonry goes a LONG way!

I don't know if it's strictly Masonic, but I take some small measure of comfort in remembering the big picture. We walk this checkered pavement of life, we expect that there will be dark tiles tread upon. Furthermore, this earthly lodge about which floor we must walk for a time is a temporary place of learning. While the lessons may be difficult, good or bad, they prepare our way for the next degree.

It has given me the satisfaction of knowing I have Brethren to talk to if need be, and if help is required and they are able, my Brethren are there to help as well. The GAOTU will assist you through your daily struggles as well.
