Welcome everyone.
Like everybody I like secret societies very much, especially the most famous one, that means Illuminati I'm interesed especially in few affairs. I've read opinions contrary to each other. In a Roberto Gervaso's book (I'm not certain if its is translated into English) tilted "The Damned Brothers" I've read that Adam Weishaupt was initated into Freemasonry. In the Barb Karg's book tilted The Everything Freemasons Book: Unlock the Secrets of This Ancient And Mysterious Society I've read that his initation is uncertain. I think his intation is presumably, because The Illuminati took after Freemasonry in its structure. So: was he a freemason or not?
In the Internet I've read that The Illuminati sent a peon to Frence with an order to begin The French Revolution, but the peon was killed by lightning, and the Bavarian authority got to know the content of the order what became an excuse to outlaw the Illuminati. I disbelieve in it, but is it a complete lie?
At Polish wikipedia I've read that there are lots of theories about the origin of The Carbonari but it is most likely that The Carbonari was founded by Italian Illuminati. I was shocked. If it had been the truth it would have meant that The Illuminati achived succes. I can't find more informations confirming or invalidating this theory. Have you heard about it?
I look forward to hearing from you.
