Fraternal greetings to Brethren.

I was raised a few months ago and am now contemplating next steps of my masonic journey. My Lodge falls under UGLE.

Any research on the progression, and I mean other than the Lodge progression, that I can read up? Any advice? Many thanks.

Regards,
Abhijit

Welcome. I'm not sure what you mean by "the progression." If you clarify a bit, I'm certain that we can make some reading recommendations for you.

Hello Bro. Mark,

I meant progression outside the lodge, other bodies. Other groups etc. And the pathways to reach there.

Thank you for your response and look forward to your guidance.

Regards,
Abhijit

For some general information and to get specific questions answered, you might take a look at the Appendant Organizations category on this site.

That's a bit difficult to be specific about, as I'm not familiar with the appendant/concordant bodies available in India. Here, all you have to do is let it be known in craft lodge that you're interested in continuing your Masonic journey, and there will be plenty of brothers eager to get a petition in your hands. Scottish Rite, York Rite (generally thought of as "American Rite" outside of the U.S.,) Shrine, etc.

Hi Abhijit,

So one thing to understand is that there are many Orders available but they aren't actually "progressive" as they are quite separate and distinct from your membership under the UGLE and none of these give you any rank higher than Master Mason within the UGLE. It is difficult to be specific as some of these Orders may not be available within your District but the table in this following link is roughly what is available to your fellow Freemasons under the UGLE actually located in England: https://merseylodge5434.org/info/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/masonic-pathways-English.pdf

Thank you so much for this information Mike. Very informative. My point of "progressive" was movement to orders, other than the Lodge.
