So, what manly arts have we indulged in?

    What I've done:

Martial arts, specifically jujutsu, shorinji kempo, wrestling, boxing, classical fencing, and Renaissance swordsmanship.
Drinking (prefer bourbon and the amazing Texas local brews)
    Homebrewing
Singing (it's a manly art if used for the purpose of attracting feminine attention)
    Angling (Fishing with a pole)
    Butchery (mostly fish and deer)
Cigars (I consider it an art)
History (a very manly pursuit, actually, after all)
Practical Politics (I ran a few different election locations when I lived in Indianapolis)
    Matrimony
    Fatherhood
    Carpentry
    Plumbing
    Philosophy
    Running my own business

What I intend to do but have not done.
    Freemasonry
    Hunting
    Better Fatherhood
    Riding (equestrian)
    Riding (motorcycle)
    Politics (running for office)
    Home Construction Projects
    Animal Husbandry

OK, you listed hunting, but how about shooting? All us Texans luv our guns! Whats better than goin' out to the country and indiscriminately firing off rounds? Nothing!!

I have done shooting, and I prefer black powder. Since any hunting will be with my father-in-law, it will be with crossbow. That's just how he rolls.

I have never studied Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I studied jujutsu, specifically Daito-ryu, under a retired police officer (Thomas Burdine), so there was a bit of "Now, that's the formal way, but if you try this on somebody who is drunk it might not work."

I love shooting black powder. Getting harder to find though. Fort Worth bans it's sale in the city limits, so it's usually Pyrodex for me.

Black Powder is for people who like to clean guns :). LOL

Seriously, why did Ft. Worth ban the sale of it?

One of the guys at Winchester Gun shop told me it was due to fire regulations.
