I am in search of a research organization that studies freemasonry that allows women to research their own organizations such as OES or Order of Amaranth. However, unfortunately the only research organization in the state of Texas is the Grand Lodge of Research in which you have to be a brother to belong. I want to belong to an organization that allows me to research along side men the findings of masonry and the affiliated bodies. Granted writing about masonry and not being a mason is hard. I know I will never be given that opportunity, but I do feel I can contribute. What do you think? Do you think an organization that allows for a study of the affiliated bodies and publish research that is supported by the Grand Lodge is possible? I am impressed with the Masonic Society, which is not recognized in Texas and their involvement with the Quarry project. (http://www.thequarryproject.com/) I wish I could attend however due to other obligations I will not be able to make the conference. I hope that by supporting the MLMA (http://www.masoniclibraries.org/) association next year that I will be able to attend. Research and publishing to share that knowledge is key to the growth and development of the spirit and enlightening the path for others in the journey of life. I hope someday to be able to share that knowledge with others and have it recognized as a valid piece of literature by the Grand Lodge of Texas.
