I took this picture at the Elks Lodge in Hartford, a grand old turn of the last century building, on First Night New Years Eve. I am interested in the architecture of fraternal organizations. It happened that they were conducting channelings or divination, what ever you want to call it. The light in the left corner was not visible to the naked eye, I did use a flash, a second shot revealed a similar image, but a third aimed to the left some minutes later did not show this light. I am a believer in such things and find the image compelling. See the transparency of the glow and the streamings on top. I have often considered that the spirits of departed brothers must find the lodge room warmly welcoming, as we reverence their beings and traditions.
