I live in a pretty rural area so there's only a small amount (two or three) of us that I've met so far that are like minded enough to undertake something like this.
On the other hand, being rural, there are at least two nearby lodges I know of that will openly admit that are probably close to demising.
We've also talked about the possibility of reviving a nearby demised lodge. Apparently other groups of masons have been discussing doing the same thing, though I can't imagine they'll have much success if they continue using the same model that caused it to demise to start with. :blink:
I've tried introducing some of the TO ideas to my lodge during this year while I'm WM but people haven't seemed as excited about it. I haven't had much resistance, mind you, but there's been grumbling. I don't know if I'm just bad at selling ideas or if people are set in their ways.
Anyhow, thanks for the heads up Bro. Moore, I'll let you know if anything ever comes to fruit.
