Sausage-Cheese Balls

Ingredients:

1 lb. Spicy Ground Sausage
8 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
2 C Baking Mix (e.g. Bisquick)
½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper
½ tsp. Black Pepper
½ tsp. White Pepper
½ tsp. Salt

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl. (You’ll need to really get in there with your hands and squeeze it all together. It’s easier if the sausage is at room temperature. ) Form into approximately 80-100 small balls. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 12-13 minutes at 375°. Balls will be sizzling and slightly brown. Serve warm.

These may be made in advanced, and refrigerated or frozen until needed. Simply warm in the oven or microwave.

This so reminds me of the SNL skit Schwetty Balls. Sorry Blake, but consider this hijacked.
