Brotherly love and charity.

Two principles that just aren't taught any more.

I'm with Barbee, as well, but I might also add the positive impact we have on others as a result of that brotherly love and charity. So, the internal (within our fraternity) effects as well as the external. :)

the bond of Brotherhood. In my circle of friends I was the first to "ask2B1". So it has been great getting to participate in the degrees of my new Brothers. Our circle of firends can now open a EA Lodge on up...lol

Being able to walk into a room full of people you have never met before and immediately having a common bond. Knowing that if you are ever in a dire predicament, there are people you can truly count on to help. Being able to go anywhere in the world and both of those things still being applicable.

The really cool white aprons :)

Actually to me it is the "ancientness" - the people, the pride, the charity, personal growth and the opportunity to serve

oh to answer the question of the thread I feel the best thing about Masonry is the energy we create as a collective body of individuals. This energy we carry as Masons is dispensed back into society and one can only imagine all the good we have created and are creating as Masons.

One of the best things about being a Mason is being part of something that is more important than yourself and yet, no one is more important than another individual.

The feeling that you get when you meet another brother anywhere in the world .. ! it is almost instant family.. ! friendship.. !

Have known some great brethren who taught me a bunch about life .. ! they were fine men and some days I miss their council when things are bad.. !
